Biserica Sfantul Grigorie Palama

The campus of the Politehnica University of Bucharest was selected as location to build the church of Saint Grigorie Palama, considering that there are 20,000 students and 2,200 teachers in this university. On 29 May 1996 the foundation was laid, and 26 October 1999 was the day on which the church was sanctified.

The project observes the dimensions of the Romanian churches, especially in the design of the crosses on the church, of the decorations at the doors and windows and of the entrance doors’ iconostasis.

Manastirea Antim

Built in 1715 under the leadership of Archbishop Antim Ivireanu, the Antim Monastery, one of the jewels of Brancoveanu architecture, went through a vast process of consolidation and rehabilitation in order to complete the whole set.

The work accomplished during the period 2016-2018 focused on consolidation, removal of moisture from foundations, and rehabilitation of the monastic cells, while transforming them into a museum. By having an important place within the ensemble, the Pompilian Chapel has undergone complex consolidation and restoration works to render its original form.
