Ateneul Roman
Extensive consolidation work was carried out to increase the safety and comfort of the Romanian Athenaeum building, first opened in 1888. The most spectacular piece of work was the consolidation of the dome and the remaking of the zinc roofing.
At the same time, the Concert Hall and the remainder of the interior spaces have been reconditioned – all in record time! The entire reconditioning required just 6 months.
Another important detail is that the restoration of the famous fresco in the Concert Hall was done by certified painters.
The project received the ARACO Quality Trophy award.
Memorialul Cotroceni
The „Cotroceni” Memorial is the result of the strong desire of the Aedificia Carpati to bring back the remains of the Cantacuzinos to their resting place of choice.
The most valuable vestiges of the „Cotroceni” Monastery Church which could be saved from destruction have been put into their rightful place.
With the uninterrupted activity of the Presidential Administration on the location, the working conditions were fairly challenging: impeccable site and operations management, rapidity, absence of noise and dust, as well as deposits within the „Cotroceni” Palace area, absence of heavy machines, preservation of the vegetation on site etc.
