Fundatiunea Universitara CAROL I
The “Carol I” University Foundation
The “Carol I” Library of the University Foundation, or the Central University Library of Bucharest, as it is better known, another Romanian Patrimony monument, was extensively damaged during the December 1989 events and subsequently required complex and painstaking repair and modernisation work.
The Central Building of the Central University Library was re-opened in 2008, receiving its former name of the “Carol I” University Foundation.
The regaining of the former splendour of the Library was due to our experts in plaster mouldings, plasterwork, stucco-marble work, exquisite carpentry and joinery, and decorative painting with vast expertise gained from the previous works carried out by Aedificia Carpati.
